Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

The Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Ithaca College provides essential mental health support to students, helping them navigate the complexities of college life with care, compassion, and professionalism. Through individual and group counseling, crisis support, outreach, and consultation, CAPS fosters a supportive environment where students can address challenges related to stress, anxiety, relationships, identity, and overall well-being. Grounded in a holistic and student-centered approach, CAPS plays a critical role in promoting resilience, emotional health, and academic success across the campus community.

Support on Giving Day helps CAPS expand access to care and enhance the range of services available to students. Donor contributions can support innovative group therapy offerings, mental health workshops, and outreach programming that meets students where they are. Gifts also help strengthen prevention efforts, reduce barriers to care, and ensure that students have timely access to the support they need. Your investment in CAPS affirms the importance of mental health and helps create a campus culture where students feel supported, connected, and equipped to thrive.
