The School of Humanities and Sciences (H&S) offers liberal arts programs in the physical sciences, social sciences, creative arts, and humanities. The centerpiece of every H&S program is hands-on research, collaboration, and creative activity.

When you give to the IC Annual Fund for H&S you are supporting programs like STEM, Creative Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, and so many more. Gifts to the IC Annual Fund for H&S are the greatest need and provide the most support for students, faculty, and staff. 

Your donation to H&S provides students with many opportunities, including:

• Collaborating with faculty to conduct intriguing, graduate-level work as an undergraduate and present findings at conferences and publish papers in academic journals
• Learning by doing in spaces dedicated to scientific discovery, creative exploration, and critical analysis
• Extending learning through the summer months with a paid position to carry out a full-time project with a faculty mentor in the Summer Scholars Program
• Gaining experience and confidence through internships, fieldwork, and conference opportunities that challenge students to apply the skills learned in the classroom to situations in the real world
