The Ithacan

The Ithacan strives to inform and educate its readers by bringing insightful and
purposeful community journalism to the students of Ithaca College, the surrounding
area and a broader online audience.

The Ithacan functions as an outlet for student journalists to learn the craft of reporting
and storytelling across multiple platforms, and to expand their journalistic skills for an
evolving profession. The publication encourages all members of the student body,
regardless of academic year, major or background, to contribute, and invites a wide
range of voices and viewpoints.
