ICare and Student Support

Have you ever been concerned about a student’s wellbeing and not known where to turn for help?

Have you seen students carry the emotional weight of supporting friends who may need professional care?

Ithaca College’s Office of ICare and Student Support (ISS) provides a vital referral system that anyone — students, faculty, staff, families, or community members — can use to raise concerns about a student who may be struggling. Every referral to ICare is carefully reviewed by professional staff, who develop a personalized plan that considers the student’s wellbeing, safety, and academic or personal stressors, and identifies appropriate campus resources.

The Office of ICare and Student Support plays a critical role in fostering student success and strengthening campus connections. The team responds thoughtfully to students experiencing distress and coordinates the college’s ICare Team — a network of partners from across campus who work collaboratively to provide holistic, individualized support for each referred student.

Your generous donation helps make this care possible.

Contributions to ISS support tangible, student‑centered resources such as self‑care kits, educational materials, refreshments and sustenance, and supplies that help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment. Your support directly enhances our ability to show up for students when they need it most!
