We are growing! It has been an exciting year in the Health Sciences and Public Health department. Our students are presenting research at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research, a national conference on aging, and we had over 20 students present at the Whalen Symposium here at IC. Our students ran the Ithaca College and Community Flu Pod again this year, and they have been assisting in local school food security programs and asthma management programs.
Our department has new courses in the IC London Program, a dual enrollment program for Health Sciences with TC3, and a new affiliation with the University of Rochester Nursing program. We also had three students chosen as "Selected Scholars" for Boston University this year. The number of first-year students in our program is increasing. With your contributions we hope to continue to offer this programming and expand experiential learning opportunities for our students.
