As part of the umbrella of resources and services coordinated by The Unity Center, First-Generation Programs is committed to enhancing the experience of first-generation college students and supporting them in achieving their goal of obtaining a college degree. Approximately 15% of the Ithaca College student body identifies as a first-generation college student.

- Ithaca Firsts Mentor Program
- Variety of study lounges and gathering spaces
- A Place Where YOU Belong Jumpstart pre-orientation program
- Tri-Alpha Honor Society
- Coordination of First-Generation Celebration Week programming (Fall Semester)
