National Association for Music Education (NAfME)
The National Association for Music Education (NAfME) is a national organization for music educators throughout the nation. Our chapter at IC, NAfME 219, is an organization for pre-service music educators to develop personally and professionally and prepare to enter the career field. We provide our members with opportunities to grow through guest presenters, professional development events, and conference attendance opportunities, and more.
Giving Day donations would be used to support these efforts in bringing more presenters to campus and providing more students with conference funding, namely for the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Conference that we attend each December.
